AC Adapter Provided Not Frok Braun and Won't Allow Charging

Customer service is fine, but the product fulfillment is NOT. Apparently, even though Braun is selling their products through what appears to most consumers in the U.S. as an authorized factory outlet. It is not shipping Braun U.S. power adapters with it's women's epilator units like the Silk 7681. The problem is, the EU adapter doesn't fit well in its own US AC adapter, nor will the US male plug stay in a US AC outlet. So, for as good as the unit might be, there's really no way to charge it, short of duct taping the whole AC adapter together and plug into the wall. Even then it stops charging all the time. I contacted FactoryOutlet.com, and all they'll offer is a refund on the entire unit, because they claim Braun does not provide them any US AC plug charging units. Pretty lame. While they're available online, FactoryOutlet.com can't seem to get them, and would rather issue a refund. This doesn't sound like a very consumer friendly and reputable resource to purchase what appears to be an authorized factory outlet. Also, shame on Braun for not considering consumer satisfaction in their apparent decision to not provide or make available the US power plug for sales to US consumers. My experience with this would be a 0 out of 5 stars possible, but that's not an option. My only option is either returning the unit or trying to locate a power adapter myself, at considerable additional cost than buying a unit that comes with the proper US AC plug. It looks like I'll be returning it for a refund and buying it from somewhere else. Albeit a few more dollars, but at least I won't be having to spend $25 on the proper AC adapter, which should have been included in the first place. What a tremendous waste of time, and this should have been clearly stated in the listing that you will have to buy another AC adapter if you live in the US, or else you won't have any way to really charge your unit.

Called a garmin gps and a geography chip to go with it.They sent the wrong one.I had to ship it back on my own money.Then after 10 days they still say they still didn't get it.I was going on a vacation in a week and needed it.Ihad to buy the right chip and said I needed in 3 days for my trip.That will be 29.00 or so.I had to have it and paid that .Now i'm still not sure I will get the right one after paying the expedited shipment.Those people just do not care about other people that need help.I don't know were their from but I wish they would go back unless they are routing the phones to them.Now I find out they want me to pay to file a complaint.***

*** game on refunds

I was sold a cell phone battery they knew would not charge as I was told by rep when I called to complain and get a refund. No refund came forth after two months and when I called to ask about it, I was told they did not receive the battery back which was a crock as it was tracked as received. This is a standard ploy by this company and such a company should be avoided . If they already knew a non Samsung battery would not work, why was it sold to me? The answer is because it did not matter that it did not work, they would still get my money and come up with an excuse not to refund anything.

Refund your money in 30 days

I bought a Magellan GPS from them, thinking it was Magellan's own store. That is how they make it look. It came without a sales invoice. I called the store and talked to noe of their poor Indian reps. (they must take a lot of heat). They directed my to the refund/exchange sheet. Then I find out that they are NOT going to refund my money, but deduct 15% restocking fee and shipping charges. Not what they promised at all. I would never have bought anything from them had I known their policy in advance. But they make it LOOK like a refund is no problem.

As a member of Norton for many years---and McAfee I was assured that we would have no trouble getting our refund for the wrong Braun accessory.. These unfortunate experiences were furnished by our Attorney.Hopefully we will not have similar experinces in our request for a $39.95 refund.

I had a similar experience in that I thought I was dealing directly with Garmin. I made 3 phone calls to Garmin trying to get them to take care of a multitude of problems. When I said Garmin is treating its Factory Outlet Store like an unrelated company, the lady said oh Factory Outlet, you need to call 800-816-****. She then apologized and wished me well. I told her garmin needs to look into this because I really thought I was dealing directly with them.

I then contacted Factory Outlet. Things went well enough on the telephone - although it was hard to understand them because of a thick (Indian or Pakastani) accent. They emailed me the return form. I clearly marked on the form that the GPS was defective, carefully noting exactly what the problems were. I figured no problem and mailed it back. A few days later I noticed the refund was shorted around $30. I called their Customer Service #. After about 30-minutes I spoke to a woman that explained a restocking fee and S&H were deducted from the refund. I argued that it was unheard of that I would pay a restocking fee and S&H for a defective product. She relented on the restocking fee, but wanted me to pay the original S&H charges. After a little more arguing she relented to a full refund.

All in all it was a tedious experience. The money saved was not worth the hassle of dealing with their nickel and diming.

I ordered with a very specific must have by date and paid additional rate. showed up 3 days later.

I refused the delivery and called the company to ask what they would like me to do? I was told to refuse the package unopened. I did as they asked, two weeks later I called and asked about my refund, they said I sent it back to the warehouse instead of some other unknown address by me and they would verify the tracking and credit my account within 24/48 hrs. A week later I called back and asked again about my credit they again said it was sent to the wrong address and said they would check again and it would take two weeks, I filed a complaint with my credit card company. If you have to return to this company be ready for a problem, pay the extra and deal with someone else.

Paid 45 dollars for 3 day shipping. priducts wil not arrive in 3 days

I ordered 2 Panasonic fan light combos for bathrooms. I paid an extra 45.00 for 3 business day shipping. The products were shipped 2 days after ordered. When they said in stock. The point is if it wasn't time sensitive I wouldn't have paid the extra shipping. I'm supplying these fans to a customer for bathroom renovations, and its holding up the job at this point. I talked to some Indian guy and explained as nicely as possible. He said to call back Monday. I've also emailed my dissatisfaction to them. Hopefully I get the correct products. At the very least.

BAIT AND SWITCH !!!!. BOUGHT 2 SAMSUNG OEM BATTERIES FOR A SAMSUNG INFUSE, ALL MADE IN KOREA AS SHOWN IN THEIR PICTURES WITH EXTANDED WARRANTY. I RECEIVED 2 BATTERIES MADE COMPLETELY IN CHINA IN A FLIMSY ENVELOPE WITHOUT PROTECTION. I SEND 3 EMAILS ASKING TO REFUND THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION AND TO SEND ME A PREPAID RETURN KIT, I DID NOT GET EVEN A RESPONSE FROM THEM. I HAD TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH PAYPAL AND THEY SIDED FOR ME BUT, I HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING FOR SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT ORDERED. BAD COMPANY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!"

Bait and switch. Ordered an electrical dog collar that we had researched.

Sent a different collar. Tried to return. They said they would send a return slip. It did not come.

Called again. They hung up on us. Tried again...same result. Phone the credit card company who after two months said the issue was resolved and they were refunding us the money.

A month later, we get a notice from a collection agency. The attorney general's office should take notice of this company. It is not a case of not being happy with something we ordered. It is not wanting the unauthorized substitution they made.

The item has been wrapped for return shipping since the day we got it, unused and never tried. We need the return label and we should not have to pay return fees because this is not what we ordered.

Dont even think about ordering from this COMPANY

Ordered a Garmin GPS and Phantom Alert, Would not give us help in getting the code for the Alert, Finally got the alert company and they could not download because all the Gigs of memory on the Garmin were used up and no way of clearing it. It was suppose to have 1.7 gigs and it was all used except 2.25 megs. Tried calling Factory Outlet store 8 times and each time lasted 30 min or more. They would send me to different areas and finally screwed up and connected 3 of us customers together, while Megan hung her phone up and never got back with us. I will never us this business again.Please use some one else. Customer service is terrible.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/ PRODUCT!!

I ordered a towable tube for my kids. The day we got it it ripped apart, shredded to bits...totally defective. Told them i was sending it back and wanted credit to my account! It could of hurt someone!!! After several calls, and talking to a "supervisor"..they said they credited my paypal account, which they never did. (Paypal said it would of immediately posted, not the 5 days they were claiming!!!) They said theyd ship a new one, and i said NO WAY. It cost me $30 to ship back THEIR DEFECTIVE ITEM...they refused to give a cent back and took restocking fee off my total. Horrible horrible customer service. had to pursue now with paypal to try and get my money back, since we know they got my item back since they signed for it!!!

Item shows instock on website, csr said they were in stock, Its been 3 weeks and still no product.

Do not order from these people. I ordered a 6 pack radio deal. Items showed in stock on website, Customer service rep said they were in stock and it's been 3 weeks and still no radios. Customer service has no idea of what they are doing. I have retained a lawyer to get my money back because of the no customer service. Sent opened used battery

Ordered two new batteries for my Samsung phone on Aug 5, 2013 and didn't receive until Aug 19,2013. One of the batteries was taped shut with scotch tape and was clearly a used battery. No sense in calling Factory Outlet Store again, I got some one from India the first time and that guy didn't have a clue. Will never buy from these *** again and would not recommend buying from them to any one. Would have been better off paying more at a local Batteries Plus Store near my home and having as advertised NEW batteries. Buyer Beware Always.

I received my tomtom 1535TM and after just a few minutes of operation it froze up and will not respond to any action. I've only had it a few hours... Is there any phone assistance possible or what can I do to return or correct the problem. I am very displeased as this is the second tomtom I've owned and never experienced a probvlem like this. Would you provide some assistance. Is there possibly an on-line fix that could be provided. Really frustrated with this situation. This process is not as friendly as it could be. I'm beginning to wonder about the whole situation. Please help....

Difficult to get full refund

The GPS I ordered had a bad amplifier and was very staticky. I had to return it. I FORGOT to mail the power cord and quickly mailed it out the next day as instructed and told I would get a FULL refund upon receipt of the cord. I did receive a prompt refund minus 25.99, and finally got the rest of the refund after 4 more calls on my part, including talking to supervisor's and giving them the package tracking info. Thank goodness I had it. And yes, I did wait about 15 minutes only to be disconnected. You must have time to deal with phone calls in case you get a defective product.

Terrible Customer Service

The item I received did not have the items as advertised. I have contacted customer service multiple times and they will not call you back. The "managers" and "supervisors" don't return phone calls even though they say they will that day, and leave while not giving you any updates at all. They have processed a "credit" for me to send back the item for an exchange without confirming that this was okay and have considered the issue "resolved". They will do everything in their power to not help you. First level customer service is very rude and you can barely understand them half of the time. Wait times on hold will be upwards of 10-15 minutes each time you are either transferred to someone or they are looking up your information.

They have no clue

over two weeks ago I found their web page because I was looking for a clarity phone for my mother-in-law . she needed an answering machine and 3 had sets . the sales person I spoke to recommended a phone that had what she needed . so I ordered it . it was delivered fast . but when I looked at it did not have an answering machine . called them back again customer service did not know any information so they gave me the phone number for clarity . they told me what phone was good for her . called customer service back this time asked for a supervisor . she took the corrected order . guaranteeing that she would have it by Friday . received the email for the tracking and she made a mistake in the address . now she will not get it till Monday . I will not be at her house on Monday to receive and install the phones . I planned on being there Friday and Saturday . so again their mistake is costing me . if I had found the board sooner I would never have placed the 1st order .
